This is an individual assignment. You are advised to spend about 45 minutes on this question.
A Pictorial Short Story. (20 Marks)
1. Look at the picture that your are assigned by your lecturer carefully.
2. Interpret the picture by noticing details such as what the person in the picture is doing, what kind of place it is, what are the objects that can be found in the picture and so on.
3. Based on the picture, write down a short story in your own words.
4. Give name to your characters to make them come alive.
5. Describe the people by appearance, height, age, weight and features.
6. Also, describe the things and objects by their colour, size, features and what something is made of.
7. Give a suitable title to your short story.
8. Your short story should be around 50-80 words.
9. You may begin your story as below:
One day.........
Last weekend..........
10. Deadline: 13 August 2010
